St. Joseph is Here!

Battalion – a large body of troops ready for battle, especially an infantry unit forming part of a brigade typically commanded by a lieutenant colonel.

Dear Battalion,

Today is the Feast day of St. Joseph! In case you didn’t read my last post on St. Patrick and the significance of that day and that holy and most powerful saint, I recommend you do so before reading on…

Ok, now that we have established that there is no such thing as coincidences when it comes to the spiritual life, we can proceed to unpack all the mysterious and glorious things that God is doing through his chosen holy ones right here and now in our diocese!

St. Joseph is the protector of the true Catholic Church. He is also the saint leading the charge in this battalion (hence the name SJB). Today is his feast day. Which means his intercessory ability is going to be at an all-time high right now as you are reading this. Please do not neglect this opportunity to thank St. Joseph for all the work he has been doing behind the scenes in bringing about this most important work in the Church.

As is his nature, Joseph prefers to be silent. His mighty power and influence in heaven is only behind Our Lady and Our Lord but we hear the least about him. His time is NOW and if you weren’t aware before, you will see just how important of a role he is about to play in helping Our Lady retake her Church, beginning in Sacramento. It is only fitting that Our Lady would do this work with her blessed husband. The Holy Family is our guide and protection in these most uncertain times when the domestic church (the family) is under attack.

The reason this is the best news you will have heard in a long time is because now more than ever we need this holy saint to protect us against the wickedness and snares of the devil and his demons. Yesterday, March 18th, 2020, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was suspended in our diocese! In case you weren’t aware, the Mass (and receiving the sacraments) is our primary source of spiritual protection against the diabolic principalities that roam the world looking for souls to devour. Without the mass, which also acts as a general form of exorcism on that area, we the laity are being fed directly to the wolves by our own Bishop. The demons are being unleashed today because it is the first day in the history of our diocese that no public masses will be offered for the faithful.  But the good news is that St. Joseph, being the Terror of Demons, one of his many titles, is here right now to do something about this most serious problem we are facing.

It is time to join in on the fight! Many of us have followed the Battalion from a distance because we care about Fr. Leatherby and want to see justice prevail. However, we have not done nearly enough. A few brave souls among us have put their names and reputations on the line to stand up to this atrocity but the rest of us have yet to make a move because maybe something has been holding us back. I personally have watched and waited on the Battalion to post videos every week for over a year and never thought that there was anything more that was being asked of me. Until literally 2 days ago when I was asked to write that first article for SJB.

Each one of us who call ourselves members of this Battalion must pray extra hard today to discern what we are all being called to in this fight. If you were waiting for an invitation, this is it. God wants us to act and I have a plan of attack that has been rumbling around in my head for some time now. But before we get to that (a future post perhaps), it is imperative that we figure out who is with us. We must know who is willing to go to battle with us and take back our Church.

The Church belongs to us, the laity. It does not belong to corrupt and cowardly clergy who cancel all the masses at the first opportunity to do so. They do not possess the supernatural Faith in these most evil of times. Now more than ever we need our best and most holy priests to offer the Mass for the true remnant church. Some people may pose objections stating that we wouldn’t be being obedient to the Bishop if we were to celebrate mass clandestinely but that would not be an accurate portrayal of the current situation.

Make no mistake about it, the Church is in a STATE OF EMERGENCY. The divine laws that come from God alone supersede any laws that typically have to do with the governance of the Church’s ecclesial structure. We owe 100% obedience to the Truth who is Jesus Christ. We DO NOT owe obedience to a Bishop who does not possess this truth. For if one persists in a state of mortal sin (Bearing false witness against his neighbor) than he has been deprived of supernatural grace and the Truth does not live in him. The TRUTH is with Fr. Jeremy Leatherby and we will fight for this truth until it prevails in our diocese. Anyone who opposes the truth, is opposing Christ himself. We must be vigilant in watching out that we do not ever become numb to the primary work of the devil which is deceit. This means we do not have anything to do with those who lie or refuse to tell the truth because they are serving their father, the devil. (John 8:44).

Maybe you’re sitting there thinking that this all sounds too extreme or judgmental or whatever.  If this is the case, I encourage you to take to prayer right now with the intention to be led to the Truth. Christ will not hide his face from us if we seek him with pure and humble hearts. St. Joseph will lead us to his son, as will Our Lady. They want us to get involved and this brings me to my final thoughts for this post…

What are we being called to do right now?

  1. Bring as many family members and loved ones into the Battalion as possible.
  2. Wear the Green Scapular.
  3. Pray the Rosary every day for Fr. Leatherby and for Bishop Soto’s conversion.
  4. Consecrate yourselves today to St. Joseph! And Our Lady if you haven’t already.
  5. Remain calm, sober and alert. Watch for the next sign that will direct our actions as a Battalion.

As we march into battle this day, let us rally behind our lieutenant colonel, St. Joseph, and shout our rallying cry, “Viva Cristo Rey!”

  1. Additionally, if Our Lord says it is licit to appeal to a state of necessity, to suspend laws of the Old Covenant given by Moses (Mark 2:27), because men are hungry on a Saturday afternoon, then obviously it is licit to suspend laws of the Bishop, WHEN THE SALVATION OF ALL SOULS ON EARTH UNTIL THE END OF TIME is put in grave and imminent danger.
