Fr. Leatherby Homilies ~ The Annunciation ~ Holy Communion

4th Sunday of Lent and Solemnity of the Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary

O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine, All Praise and All Thanksgiving Be Ever Lasting Thine

Are you missing Holy Communion? It is time for you, the Laity, to take action! Our Lord wants us to desire Him with all our hearts, with all our souls and with all our strength. If we are seeking Him, and we die for love of Him as He died for love of us, what have we lost? Something temporary? What have we gained? Eternal Life!

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8

  1. Never have the faithful been denied the Eucharist….for 2,000 years priests risked and even shed their lives to bring Jesus to people, no matter the crisis, war, persecution, disease or calamity….

  2. Agree! What would Mother Teresa say? Would a priest come to anoint me if seriously ill? In the hospital? I cry for our weak bishops/priests.
