Four Years of Silence! We Pray For Justice!

Dear Fr. Leatherby ~ Peace to you! This cross you have carried for all these many years, we all join together with you and we are encouraged; “Lean in to the cross our Lord has so lovingly prepared, here you will experience the greatest intimacy of Jesus.” We miss you, Fr. Leatherby. ~The L Family HERE I AM LORD, I COME TO DO YOUR WILL

In 1981 there were two brass signs on our church at the Robertson side and the school gym, all they said was Presentation Church and Presentation School, no mention of to whom it was dedicated. It was a Comfortable Catholic church in a nice neighborhood. Our Lady was seldom mentioned, neither was right to life issues. The Rosary was said during funerals only, Adoration and the Monstrance and the gate of heaven were not here, the Immaculata, the Knights of Columbus (125) and an active St Vincent DePaul were also not here, A new main aisle and doors, and at the ring of the bell a holy mass begins, also new. Later Priests removed the Presentation Sisters and the School began to diminish. Other denominations like Capitol Christian Center grew because they offered a faith journey with guidelines. Presentation went along as a Comfortable Catholic church in line with, political correctness. Then a new Priest was sent to us and lots of things changed for the best. Father Leatherby you were wise for your age and guided our Church as Pope John Paul guided the Holy See. You dedicated our church To Mary the Mother of Jesus PBVM and through your Holiness secured The Dominican Sisters for our School, the only Dominican Order in the whole area. It is a testament to your strength that these things you have set up for us remain. We didn’t return to a Comfortable Catholic Parish. We have seen the light. Who would want to go back? We want you back to make us fishers of people.  God Bless you and your family GM

Fr. Jeremy! It’s only just beginning and I’m super excited for where it’s going. These are truly going to be times of a great revealing. Truth is on your side and that means nothing can stop what is coming. We pray for you every single day and we pray for all those who know and love you that they will come to see the truth in all things as well. I’m eternally grateful for our friendship and all that you’ve done for our family. Too much to list but thanks be to God for all the “coincidences” that led us to you and the amazing community of families at Presentation. I used to be sad about what happened but now I have nothing but joy and peace knowing that Our Lady, St. Joseph, and Our Lord have a great plan in store for you and the true Church of light. CH and Family

Dearest Father, You are a treasure, a pearl of great price, to so many of us who have had the opportunity to have you as a pastor. My children and I were so very blessed to have you as a pastor at Presentation for many years. Your joy of the Lord was so palpable as you gazed with such a joyful loving gaze as you held up or Savior at consecration time during Holy Mass l. It was very obvious you knew and loved Him so very deeply. Your reverence during Holy Mass was such an inspiration to me and so many others as well. You know when you can just tell someone truly believes in what they are doing? That is you. You breath your faith in Him, your very being speaks of the presence of the deep and profound relationship with Our Blessed Lord that you have. You are very missed and I do believe and pray that in His holy and perfect time you will be returned to full active ministry. He has a plan in all of this. You are not alone during this Garden of Gethsemane. Our Lord sees your suffering and knows who you truly are, He is faithful. May Our Blessed Mother continue to shelter you in her mantle and guide you as we wait in hope for justice, truth and mercy to be completed in your life. May God forgive and have abundant mercy on everyone involved in this travesty and may He reveal to you the reason He has allowed this in your life. God love you Dearest Father.  CG

Happy Birthday Fr. Leatherby. You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. I hope you enjoy your day and receive good news soon. We need you back. The O family

We have been so inspired over the years with your dynamic sermons. It truly drew us closer to our faith. Our church truly needs a cleansing and we think you are part of that process. I believe that Jesus has great plans for you through your intercessory Mary. Jesus’s time is not our time so patience is required. We have to think that waiting has a purpose. Pray Pray Pray, S and C

Dear Father Jeremy,
If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be a practicing Catholic right now. My life would still be the empty mess it was before. You changed all that. I am forever grateful. I would not have committed my life as a Secular Carmelite or to protecting life Of the unborn. It was you vocation, your words, your love of our Lord and Lady that woke my up to life in the spirit. I am sooo grateful. I am truly blessed by you. The charges against you are unbelievable. Anyone who knows you would know that. Your sacrifice in the midst of this is saving souls. There is always a silver lining. I have prayed for you everyday for 4 years. MAL

Father Leatherby you are in our hearts and prayers. Thank you for your service to Our Lord Jesus. Your sacrifice is a mystery to us. But I am sure your redemptive suffering is saving thousands of souls. May God Bless and comfort you always. D and J

The Z’s ~ There is no doubt in my mind that your priesthood was a gift from God For these very times. My family and I believe many others are at peace today because of your witness and your proofing in the forge of the diocese of Sacramento and its leadership!! We ask St. Joseph to strengthen the remnant so as to continue the work of our beloved Fr. Leatherby. We are the Light that will shine in the darkness. We will be the rock that the church will be rebuilt. We are the foundation built on solid ground that will remain standing in these times. Fr, Leatherby’s witness is why. God Shining through him is why.
Mary our Mother Help us as you help your son Fr. Leatherby. M

Dear, Father Leatherby,

Father, we are so blessed by you saying yes to your calling to the priesthood, and we pray that your faculties will be restored to you as God wills. We pray for your future, to give you all the graces you need to follow Christ in these dark times, and ask that St Michael the arch angel always be near you for constant protection. Amen! The Ms

May God bless you Father Leatherby and may you be restored in full. We offer Psalm 34:19 for you. J and B

Father Jeremy,
Since you were 6 years old, waking yourself up to make your own school lunch so your hard working mom could sleep a few more minutes, I knew you were and are a special soul. You are inspirational to all who know you and have deeply touched the lives of so many. I continue to pray for your return to your priestly duties and parish. You have many more doubting souls to guide back to faith and devotion. Prayers are offered to open the eyes and heart of our Bishop and for your ongoing unshakable strength.
Love and blessings to you,
Aunt L

Dear Fr. Leatherby,
It seems God has a very special job for your future. These four years have led up to this point and time in your life and in this world. Your suffering and those of your family, friends neighbors and relatives have not gone on deaf ears! God is in control of everything then and now! Your life has truly been guided from heaven since you felt Gods call to become a priest. We are in uncharted territory! We love you with all our hearts. And thank God for you in our lives today. Who knows what our future holds for us, only God knows! God Bless You and God Bless America and God Bless the world. May God pour out his Divine Mercy upon each and every human being on the face of this earth. Past, Present and Future.. This is why you are allowed to suffer. You are always in my prayers! My wife and I pray the rosary live everyday with six continents ….. People in several thousand cities are praying with the parish in Medjugorje every day through Mary TV…. (there is a list of cities at the end of my March 9, 2020 update at https://marytv.tv/category/update-from-denis/
The Leatherby family is the most incredible family I know..and Fr Jeremy the most incredible priest…. I’ve mentioned before that once when I was talking to the Medjugorje visionary Marija in the hall during a break in a conference in Sacramento, she looked over my shoulder and with wide eyes said, “There’s my priest!” Fr. Jeremy had just walked in through a door in the far corner of the room. She was looking straight at him. Recently I’ve learned a new meaning to God’s wrath. It is setting things straight! I feel him doing that now for Fr. Jeremy! It seems right now God is giving the world a “time out” a time to set things straight in our lives.
From what I understand, Scripture says God’s judgement begins with the Church….
Let’s pray much for the Church… Let’s continue praying much for Fr Leatherby. He carries a lot! Denis Nolan  I forgot to mention in what I just wrote, that we are all praying for Fr. Leatherby every day…..

Dear Father, We thank you for all the wonderful ways you have shared the Lord’s love and preached His word. You have awakened our spirit to new hope and opened our hearts to new joy. We trust in God, our Father, that a time will come when you will be able to resume your ministry. During this time of separation, we all must garner strength and courage for the battles ahead. For this we pray. Jezu Ufam Tobie. ~D and A

 Dear Fr. Leatherby
You’re in my prayers in a special way today. Thank you for your love and commitment to the Lord, Our Lady and all your faithful followers.
God bless you. The Women of the Remnant ~

Father, thank you for inspiring me with hope, inspiration and truth in your homilies when I was in difficult situations and to propel me deeper in my relationship with Jesus. These words fed me throughout the week to direct my paths.

When I thought I was living a good Catholic life, and then came for prayers, the grace that Our Lord and Our Lady sent through you completely changed my life, and is now changing the life of those in my household and extended family and friends igniting the love of God in our hearts and the fire of the Holy Spirit to daily mass, Rosary, fasting and awakening to truth within our Catholic faith. Praise be to Jesus Christ, Now and Forever!! ARV

Thank you, Father for offering your dry martyrdom and offering your suffering for souls, as it seems. I personally think it has strengthened me in times of difficulty in choosing life with my children when circumstances were less than ideal.

Dear Father, You are forever close to our hearts and always in our prayers. We walk every moment with you and know God has a special plan for His holy priest and indeed for us all. We know you grow stronger each day as we do! God is faithful and we trust all this suffering is to make His Church stronger. God bless you Father, now and forever!!! Party at our house (and maybe Holy Mass) when this is done and you are returned to God’s ministry! Glory to God now and forever!!! Love, C and C

Ps. We pray the rosary for you today in our little outside chapel that your dad blessed for us!!

 Praying for you! W

Dear Father Leatherby, I am praying for you to be restored, to lead your flock, and to bring us the Sacraments. I never even thought becoming a Saint was possible for me until I heard you speak of it and teach me it is what I am called to be!  I am so thankful I have your past homilies to inspire me, but I yearn to hear your words on how to live this very day.  Dear father, I pray for you to lead us and guide us during these dark and uncertain times. We need a holy priest who will truly represent Christ our Lord and provide the Sacraments for us. Father Leatherby I pray that someday, maybe soon, you will be able to do this. For now, I continue to pray for you and am thankful for all you have done for me, my family, and for the Mystical Body of Christ. With Love and Blessings, CVS

Dear Holy Priest, Fr Leatherby,
I remember seeing you in prayer when you were a teenager. I thought then that you would have a vocation. Your blessed vocation has led many many to Christ and His church. May Jesus direct Bishop to restore your faculties so that we may once again have you to lead us and bring us into His kingdom on earth. We love you Father. Viva Christo Rey KK

We love you, Fr. Leatherby. Praying for you everyday. Grateful for all you have taught us/done for us🙏🏻

Dear Fr. “L”, as we continue to offer Holy Masses and Rosaries up for God’s holy will, we also pray for your spiritual Holy growth, that of your family, and that your vocation will be fully restored to God’s will, and of course the conversion and holiness of ALL of our bishops. T

Father Leatherby you are in our hearts and prayers. Thank you for your service to Our Lord Jesus. Your sacrifice is a mystery to us. But I am sure your redemptive suffering is saving thousands of souls. May God Bless and comfort you always. D and J
